Colongone Primary school stands as a beacon of hope amidst the challenges. With its dedicated team of 8 teachers and 13 bustling classrooms, this school is a lifeline for 611 students aged 6 to 16. These children, including those from neighboring villages like Navilembo and Namange, embark on arduous journeys, walking miles each day without breakfast, driven by their thirst for knowledge and the pursuit of a better future.

The families of Colongone rely on small agricultural plots to survive, cultivating crops like rice, manioc, sweet potatoes, and beans. With limited resources, their lives are marked by perseverance and resilience. This is why our project is of utmost importance, for there is no other support available. We aim to provide the basic necessities that these children and their families deserve, especially in the aftermath of the devastating Cyclone Freddy in 2023.
